Inspector comments: **Facility is no longer approved by this department to cook and cool product down as of 10/15/26 when the EHS discovered that the WIC had been removed in August of 2026. Cooked macaroni noodles were discovered to be cooled down during today’s inspection. Facility warned again that if in future inspections product is discovered to be cooled down an intent to suspend the permit will be issued**
- Facility has agreed to voluntarily close today due to issues regarding the hot water heater being unable to provide sufficient hot water throughout the facility. Max temperatures did not reach above 90-93F and appeared to remain at that temperature after approx 45 mins. Facility is to contact the EHS via text message or email with video proof that the hot water is fully functional in the facility and only then will they be approved to re-open. EHS can be contacted at 980-416-9924 or Eric.oakley@mecklenburgcountync.gov.
- Large amounts of grease/grime/sludge was observed in the dumpster area with a foul smell. PIC is unsure what it is from and EHS cannot confirm if it is or is not sewage. Facility cannot have standing water as they lead to pest harborage. Facility must ensure no grease is being dumped directly onto the ground and is properly being disposed of into the grease barrel.
