2-301.14 Wash hands before engaging in food preparation including working with exposed food, clean equipment and utensils, and unwrapped single service and single use articles. -P EHS observed volunteer working concessions and beginning to prepare RTE foods without proper hand wash prior to food preparation. EHS intervened and instructed volunteer to wash hands prior to working with RTE foods. CDI - Volunteer washed hand properly before preparing food. (2)

EHS attempted to intervene prior to hot dog being served, however volunteer did not acknowledge EHS. No corrective action able to be taken prior to food being served. EHS provided education to volunteer after items was served. 3-day VR required. (2)

Inspector comments: Facility only serving pre-cooked hot dogs. Facility warms hot dogs on rollers and then places them in hot box on time during service. No pizza served on this day. Hot dogs, candy, popcorn, and bottled beverages were the only items served.
