Soiled refrigerator needs cleaning in room 302. Broken handle of microwave need repair or replace in room 415. Keep all equipment clean and in good repair.

REPEAT 15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. ** Observed no soap and paper towels available at hand sink in laundry room. Ensure to provide all hand washing supplies at all hand washing sinks at all times.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. ** Observed stained and holes on chair/couches need cleaning/repair in room 302, 407, 119. Keep all furniture clean and good repair.

Check for leaks, repair if needed. Replace ceiling tiles throughout the, fix damages. Keep the facility clean and good repair. - Point remain the same at this time.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (i) Maintain premises free of insects, rodents, and other pests. ** Observed dead roach on 4th floor hallway. Keep the facility free of pests.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1828 (e ) Carts used for soiled laundry shall be labeled or identified for soiled laundry use only. ** Observed dirty laundry cart without labels. Label the dirty laundry carts in laundry room.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items. ** Observed housekeeping cart need to keep clean items and dirty items clearly separate from each other at anytime to avoid any possible contamination at anytime.

General Comment: 15A NCAC 18A .1827(g) A storage area shall be provided for building and ground maintenance tools and supplies and stored in a manner to aoid contamination of food and food contact surfaces, linen, and single-use articles. ** Observed clean supplies boxes (towels, linens, toilet tissues..) stored on the floor in storage room 2nd floor. Ensure to keep/store all clean supplies off the floor at least 6 inches at anytime.
