REPEAT 15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed rusty light fixtures throughout all rooms inside bathrooms in need of repair/replacing (136, 223, 217, 308, 325, 413, 426). Observed chairs inside numerous rooms (413, 308) with damaged chairs in need of replacing. Observed Fire Suppression systems in all rooms collected heavy grease build up in need of general cleaning.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed ceilings in all guest rooms accumulating microbial growth (dust and mold) in need of detailed cleaning.

15ANCAC 18A. 1824(k) A test kit or other device that measures the concentration in mg/L of sanitizing solutions shall be provided by the lodging establishment. Observed facility using sink and surface sanitizer at 3 compartment sink with no test strips on hand. Obtain test strips for sink and surface sanitizer.

Observed a missing drawer under kitchen counter and missing lid for toilet water tank in room 133. PIC stated service requests have been submitted to replace both items. REPEAT

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed carpet floor throughout the building is in need of deep cleaning and maintain clean.

5-501.15 Maintain refuse, recyclables, and returnables receptacles with tight-fitting lids, doors, or covers. Observed dumpster without the lids, it was damaged. Repair/replace the lids of the dumpster. Observed dumpster doors left opened when not in used. Keep all dumpster doors close after dumping trash to prevent insects/rodents harborage . 5-501.114 Drains in receptacles and waste handling units for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall have drain plugs in place. Observed missing drain plug on a dumpster, Replacement needed. 15A NCAC 18A .1825( e) All refuse shall be collected and stored in covered receptacles. Refuse receptacles shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed trash/ mattress all around dumpster and the area. Cleaning needed and keeping clean.

15A NCAC 18A .1827(g) A storage area shall be provided for building and ground maintenance tools and supplies and stored in a manner to aoid contamination of food and food contact surfaces, linen, and single-use articles. Observed boxes of single use articles and linen and pillows stored directly on the floor. Recommend to store all items off the floor at least 6 inches to prevent possible contamination.

Observed dust on AC filters on units at end of hall on 2nd and 3rd floor. Check all and clean if needed. Observed linen in garbage bags stored on floor in 3rd an 4th floor storage space. Currently using for linen until elevator is repaired. 15A NCAC 18A .1828( c) Clean linen and supplies shall be stored in cabinets, or on shelves in linen and supply storage rooms.
