Observed facility had quat sanitizer hooked up to cleaner and not sanitizer which is being used to sanitize rooms. Needs sanitizer for sanitizing guest rooms. Facility is to reach out to provider to get sanitizer.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed wall cracking at ceiling outside bathroom in 305 and 341. Observed ceiling cracking in bedroom at wall in 342. Needs repair. Observed damaged ceiling in 3rd floor maintenance room. Needs repair. REPEAT.

15A NCAC 18A .1828 (e ) Carts used for soiled laundry shall be labeled or identified for soiled laundry use only. Observed facility has labeled carts for clean linen but dirty linen carts are not labeled. Dirty linen carts need labeling.

15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items. Observed brooms stored with dirty end over clean cups and items on cart. Needs to be stored with end down to prevent cross-contamination.
