15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed soiled sofa cushion and damaged at the corner, very soiled sofa bed mattress in 230. Cleaning, repairing or replacement needed. Keep all furniture clean and in good repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.- Observed water stained on ceiling tile on all floor around and near ice machine area. Repair leaks if there any and replace the ceiling tiles. Observed water damage on ceiling at the front desk. Repair needed. Keep clean and good repair.
15A NCAC 18A .1826 (g) Perimeter walls and roofs shall protect the lodging establishment from the weather, and the entry of insects, rodents, and other pests.- Observed a bucket full of old standing water in the dumpster area. Keep all buckets face down to prevent mosquitoes activity.

15A NCAC 18A .1827(g) A storage area shall be provided for building and ground maintenance tools and supplies and stored in a manner to aoid contamination of food and food contact surfaces, linen, and single-use articles.- Observed clean supplies boxes (comfortable, linen, pillow, etc..) store on the floor in laundry room storage. Observed in a storage closet on all the floors; on shelving there are chemical bottles, toasters, general items stored/mixed together with clean items (linen, pillows, etc..). Ensure to keep and store clean items separate from other general items to prevent any possible cross contamination.
