15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. ***Observed no paper towels available at a dual hand sink in laundry room and public restroom. Ensure to provide all hand washing supplies at all hand sinks at all times.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. *** Observed stained bathtub in room 111, 112. Peeling paint on ceiling in restroom 112. Stained mattresses in room 216. Damaged carpet at the door in room 231. Damaged lampshade in room 235. Cleaning and repairing needed where is appropriate. Keep clean and in good repair.

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (f) Physical facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. *** Observed damages, dusty and missing AC filters at HVAC units in the hallway need cleaning/repairing. Observed dusts covered the fans and ceiling/wall at the side of staircase throughout building need cleaning. Observed disrepair steps covers at the stairwell need repair to prevent tripping hazard. Keep the facility clean and good repair throughout.

15A NCAC 18A .1828 (d) Items on housekeeping carts shall be arranged in a manner to prevent cross-contamination between soiled and cleaned items. *** Observed on housekeeping carts, clean items (cups and ice buckets) touching chemicals/dirty items. Ensure to keep all clean supplies separate and completely away from dirty items and chemicals at anytime to prevent cross contamination.
