#29 · Tattooing procedures: tattoo cleaned and sterile dressing applied
Artist described using plastic wrap to bandage tattoo for clients that didn’t want Derm Shield to be used. ..2539(f) After completing the tattoo, the tattoo area shall be cleaned with a facial tissue or paper towel, and an antibacterial ointment may be applied. The area shall then be covered with a sterile dressing. - Corrected. Artist will only use sterile Derm Shield and will order sterile non-stick dressing.
